Launched in 2002, the AR Future Projects awards are a window into tomorrow’s cities. Spanning 13 categories, they celebrate excellence in unbuilt and incomplete projects, and the potential for positive contribution to communities, neighbourhoods and urban landscapes around the world.

Past winners include Haptic Architects, PIR2, Grafton Architects, SO-IL, White Arkitekter, Allies and Morrison, 5468796, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, 3XN Architects, Nomos, Nikken Sekkei, Valentino Architects, Studio MK27, Aedas and OMA.

All winners of 2025's awards have been invited to a celebratory event with the AR next month during Milan’s Salone del Mobile. Join us at Dropcity in Milan on Wednesday 9 April at 6pm to learn about the winning project of the AR Future Projects awards 2025, designed by Gort Scott in the UK. We will also be hearing about the two highly commended projects, by AP Valletta with David Kojo Derban, and Guillaume Othenin-Girard with the University of Hong Kong.
